continuous capacity building
We engage with communities and Budget Champions through workshops, training sessions, and peer learning, dubbed “Budget Garages or Karakana Za Bajeti”, to enhance their understanding and involvement in the Budget Processes
Evidence generation & research
our advocacy efforts are grounded in rigorous research and budget analysis to ensure that our engagements with the government are backed up by solid and credible evidence
Advocacy
The Coast Regional Budget Hub employs diverse advocacy approaches, including community advocacy led by budget champions, policy advocacy through memoranda and legislative proposals
Strategic Partnerships and Networks
We partner with organizations from which the facilitators/champions come, such as media practitioners, private sectors, government entities, and Bajeti Hub, which provides technical and financial support to the Hub
A platform for Public Finance Management (PFM) practitioners that brings together regional voices for collective efforts and synergy
